What can I do with my oven grill pan?
The oven grill pan can be put to use in a variety of other ways besides cooking. It can be used as an improvised steaming rack, a drying rack for herbs, a draining rack for baked or fried meals, a roasting surface for vegetables, and a cooling rack for baked goods.
The oven grill rack may be a useful kitchen item with a little imagination.
When does it get damaged?
The grill pan develops grease, food debris, and carbon buildup from repeated exposure to high temperatures and spills. You’ll get discoloured, rusty, or corroded grill pan. Mishandling, yanking or pushing the pan firmly can also cause the metal to bend or warp.
The finish or coating of the rack are also harmed by abrasive cleaning techniques and harsh chemicals.

Good quality for the price
We were surprised to find that for our new cooker (A so called top brand too!) , a grill pan was an 'optional extra' and not particularly cheap. So, a quick online search found this. Great value and decent quality for the price. So, we ordered and it arrived very quickly indeed. It's now in use and doing what it should do. Easy to clean. Happy days. Top marks all round for Ransom Spares. They'll be my first call if I need something like this again.

Grill pantastic!
Good value, sturdy grill pan. Smaller than my overall oven/grill capacity, but plenty of space for two slices of bread or 6 rashers of bacon. Christened with some cheese on toast with a good dash of Worcestershire Sauce. Lovely. Handle doesn't feel great quality but it is easy to fit.
